Robert Richard Snipes, MCD,Quality Improvement Coordinator

A transplant from Norfolk, Virginia, Rob came to NH  to attend the University of New Hampshire in 2012. During his undergrad  – like many people – Rob struggled with substances and the normalization of party-culture. With substance use disorder already apparent in his family Rob has long been passionate about supporting those struggling with SUDs. Rob joined SOS in February of 2020 while completing his masters in community development at the Carsey School at UNH. Rob has a passion for diversity, program evaluation, decreasing stigma, and helping communities find ways to meet their needs. As the Quality Improvement Coordinator Rob can be spotted hopping around the centers interacting with members and staff trying to see how we can better serve the community at SOS. Rob says, ” my favorite part about SOS is getting to come to work everyday and help someone better their lives. When you see the light come back into someone’s eyes – it is all worth it.”
